The Municipality of Buruanga in the Province of Aklan may be one of the smallest towns in the region. However, its startling natural landscapes make a big deal among those who seek a different twist of adventure.

Topping the list of the must-see places is the Batasan Point. Known for its flourishing marine life, this underwater site is a favorite of local scuba divers. Another hot spot in this town is the Ignito Cave, where amazing formations of stalagmites and stalactites can be found. Several species of bats and birds can also be spotted inside the cave. And for the beach hunters, Talisay Beach offers a flawless vista and a perfect site for family or peer outings.

The town of Buruanga may be unheard of, but once the place has been explored, it will be a top favorite.
