In you, O Lord, do I take refuge;
let me never be put to shame;
in your righteousness deliver me!
Incline your ear to me;
rescue me speedily!

Be a rock of refuge for me,
a strong fortress to save me!

For you are my rock and my fortress;
and for your name's sake you lead me and guide me;
you take me out of the net they have hidden for me,
for you are my refuge.

Into your hand I commit my spirit;
you have redeemed me, O Lord, faithful God.

(Psalm 31:1-5)

Holy Week 2013: Palm Sunday

The first day of the Holy Week begins on Palm Sunday. On this day, we remember the Health Care Professionals in our prayer.

They are the doctors, nurses, nursing aides, medical technologists, laboratory technicians, educators, health advocates and other members of the health care team who have dedicated their time and effort to provide care to different kinds of people. They work hard to empower people during times of sickness and weakness.

Filipino health professionals are employed almost everywhere around the world. They made a tremendous sacrifice to leave their loved ones behind to find prosperity and a better career pathway abroad. We pray for their safety, good health, and comfort.

As they welcome every first born, let us pray that that they too will feel welcomed in the hearts of the people they are taking care of, and that the world will provide them with a more secured and just working environment.

Visita Inglesia in Iloilo

by Pepin
