Eco-chic:

Eco Tour in Capiz

By Pepin

The Province of Capiz offers more exciting sites for Eco-enthusiasts to explore. One of the major destinations is the Cadimahan-Libotong River located at Lawis Baybay, Roxas City. It is just ten minutes drive from the city center, and it offers a refreshing view. There are also restaurants around the river, where guest can enjoy a relaxing ambiance while satisfying their taste buds.

Another natural attraction is the Culajao Mangrove Eco Park. This protected sanctuary is both a mangrove laboratory and  a tourist destination. It is located in Baranggay Culajao and accessible to public transport. The eco park is home to various species of birds, trees, and crustaceans.

More positive developments will be seen in the city of love in the coming months. One of the major projects that the local government and the people of Iloilo city are looking forward to is the widening of the Benigno S. Aquino Avenue (Jaro-Iloilo Diversion Road).

It is expected that this project will help solve traffic jams in the metropolis and provide more access to flourishing businesses in and around the city.
